VICKY RICHARDSON IS THE NEW LSA ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

The LSA is delighted to announced that Vicky Richardson has been selected to become the LSA’s new Associate Director. As the school grows, she will lead on communicating the work of our students, developing the relationship with our Practice Network, establishing our alumni association, and curating our public programme.

Vicky started her career as an architectural journalist and was Editor of Blueprint from 2004 to 2010. She then became Director of Architecture, Design and Fashion at the British Council, and was responsible for commissioning the British Pavilion at Venice Architecture Biennale. Her work took her all over the world, organising and curating exhibitions, installations and residencies.

Since leaving the British Council in 2016 Vicky has been working as a curator and writer for publications including the Evening Standard and Icon. She has worked closely with several architecture and design schools, and was Hon Treasurer of the Architectural Association from 2015-2016. She has a degree in architecture from the University of Westminster and is an Honorary Fellow of the RIBA.

‘I am thrilled that Vicky is joining the school at this pivotal moment as we welcome our third cohort,’ says LSA Director Will Hunter. ‘She has a fantastic reputation on the international stage for championing, curating and communicating innovations in architecture and design, and she will be an excellent ambassador for the LSA in fostering our existing relationships and bringing the pioneering work of the school to new professional and public audiences.’
