High level summary of job role
You will provide essential out-of-hours operational and facilities support, to ensure The LSA studio remains a safe, secure and effective learning environment for our students. Working during evenings and weekends, you will support student access, maintain building security, undertake minor maintenance and repairs, and act as a key point of contact within the studio. You will work closely with students, the Head of School, operations team and external contractors to support the day-to-day operation, upkeep and health and safety compliance of the studio environment.
Employment status and working hours
Fixed term for 12 months, part time for 22 hours per week.
In this role your weekly working pattern will be Monday to Thursday inclusive from 17:30 to 21:30 and Saturday 10:00 to 17:00 (Saturday includes a one hour unpaid lunch break). Days and times may be subject to variation dependent on need and academic calendar.
Organisation structure
Chief Operating Officer, The London School of Architecture.
Your line manager will be Eimear Marley, Operations Lead and you will have direct interaction with Lee Ivett, Head of School.
Place of work
Your full working week will be spent at The London School of Architecture (The LSA) office at 4 Beechwood Road, London, E8 3DY.
