We are pleased to share that Hannah Bendon, first-year student at the London School of Architecture has been shortlisted for the AJ New Talent Award.

It comes as no surprise that Hannah has been shortlisted, as she is truly an outstanding student. She consistently uplifts those around her, fostering a positive and supportive environment among her peers. She takes great pride in her work, always striving for excellence, and demonstrates a genuine passion for her course and for the community we have here at the LSA.
Hannah said:
“I’m incredibly proud to be shortlisted for the AJ New Talent Award amongst some amazing peers, and very grateful for the support I have unwaveringly received in the 3 years I have been at Ellis Williams. Working alongside studying at the LSA has rapidly increased my confidence and knowledge in the industry and the collaborative spirit of the school and commitment increasing accessibility of the profession is something I aim to pursue in my own work.”

Julian Baker, Chairman at Ellis Williams said:
“We are delighted and incredibly proud to hear of Hannah’s nomination for the AJ100 New Talent Award. Since joining Ellis Williams Hannah has demonstrated a wonderful passion for architecture both in the quality of her work and her contribution to office life. It was fantastic to see her awarded the RIAS Best Undergraduate prize for her final dissertation piece entitled ‘Foraged Construction’ recently. An exquisite, beautifully crafted piece that illustrated both her excellent graphic and technical abilities.
During her time at Ellis Williams Hannah has contributed to over 20 ongoing and completed projects. On each occasion seizing the opportunity to learn, to listen and to expand her growing knowledge of the profession. Her work to date displays a maturity and direction way ahead of her years. Regardless of the nature of a project, Hannah approaches each task with an energy that emanates across the team, placing her at the centre of activities, and enabling her to lead from the front.
We are thrilled to see Hannah’s inclusion on the short-list for this prestigious Award and wish her the best of luck. She would make a very worthy winner, and be a fantastic role model for those following on behind her.”
