WE ARE SEEKING A NEW FINANCE MANAGER
Load moreIs your practice looking for a Part 1 candidate? We want to hear from you
If you are looking for a Part 1 candidate to join your studio, please get in touch. The LSA is looking to place First Year students in practice to work part-time for up to 12 months.
The LSA was founded to widen access to architecture. To achieve this we helped offset the cost of tuition by letting students in their First Year work in practice. Now, in this challenging financial climate, we are looking for practices to host a student for their first year, or even part of it.
This year we are providing more flexibility with Practice Placements. Below is a table of options which practices can pursue:
Option | Days per week | Duration of months | Salary to student* | Total Learning Hours |
1 | 3 | 12 | £13,416 | 1128 |
2 | 3 | 9 | £10,062 | 846 |
3 | 3 | 6 | £6,708 | 564 |
4 | 3 | 3 | £3,354 | 282 |
5 | 2 | 12 | £8,944 | 752 |
6 | 2 | 9 | £6,708 | 564 |
7 | 2 | 6 | £4,472 | 376 |
8 | 2 | 3 | £2,236 | 188 |
By choosing any of the options 1 to 7, students would be able to complete First Year at the LSA. Option 8 would still give them the opportunity to seek experience elsewhere to top up their hours.
If you would like to host an LSA student or know more, please email jason@the-lsa.org.
