Stela Pletenac

Stela Pletenac headshot
Stela is a passionate architecture graduate aiming to use her work to promote ecological sustainability and regeneration. Having grown up in rural Croatia, her strong connection to nature and local architecture greatly influence her design approach. She has a particular interest in natural materials, having undertaken courses in earth construction and participated in timber building projects. Graduating in 2023 from UWE Bristol, her final design project focused on strengthening Bristol citizens’ connection with nature through food. With work experience on projects in both the UK and Croatia, she hopes to bridge the two contexts – learning from them and using her skills to positively influence each architectural context.
