Daniel Paigge

Born in Dubai, Dan was inspired to study architecture after being exposed to the city’s architecture and urban development from an early age. He gained his Part I from the University of Nottingham where he developed an interest in architectural responses to recent technological developments and environmental opportunities, particularly ocean plastic.

At university, Dan designed and built his first project: a play hill made from recycled material which was part of a larger scheme to fundraise and build a crèche in the Limpopo region of South Africa.

After graduating Dan has worked in the Manchester and London offices of SimpsonHaugh, working on a variety of projects, including international competitions and large scale residential schemes.

In his spare time, Dan likes to write and record music on his laptop. He may also be found eating Greek food, reading non-fiction or touring a new city on the weekend.
