Pathways: Optic Translations

Next Thursday, 9 February, we are holding the second event in our new event series “Pathways”, organised by students at the LSA.

“Pathways: Optic Translations” is a panel discussion which will discuss creative journeys and processes, innovative technologies and techniques, and storytelling in the world of photography and cinematography. It delves into the processes and pathways of these fields, drawing parallels to that of architectural work and other creative professions.

We will be joined by:

Lorenzo Zandri, Architectural Photographer and Artist
Dr Laura Cuch, Photographer and Lecturer at Goldsmiths, University of London
Timi Akindele-Ajani, Film Maker and Photographer
Aliyah O., Music and Documentary Photographer

The event will be chaired by LSA student Jerry Florez.

This event follows the success of “Pathways: Furniture as Object/Object as Furniture” where we welcomed an audience of 80 for a fantastic discussion about functionality vs. form and playfulness in furniture design. We look forward to welcoming as many people to “Optic Translations”.
