About Us
At The London School of Architecture, part of the University of the Built Environment, we are more than just an architecture school; we are a social and creative community of students, educators, architectural practitioners and wider built-environment professionals collectively asking ‘what change do we want to see in the world?’.
Our Part 2 MArch programme unites a world-beating network of professional practitioners and academics to create a new generation of practitioners equipped and empowered to address the climate emergency and rampant inequity in urban life. We are looking for students whose own values and ambitions match our own and who wish to become a driving force within this community and beyond.
We are registered with the Office for Students (OfS) and professionally recognised at Part 2 level by the Architects Registration Board (ARB) and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
At Part 2 level, our two-year progressive and practical educational model unites a world-beating network of professional practitioners and academics, alongside a design-focused curriculum that allows you to learn through studio-based study while earning through practice-based work experience.
In the first year, you’ll balance a three-day-a-week Student Placement with two days dedicated to school projects. In the second year, students are supported to develop their own direction and to set the terms of their own enquiry.
