Sarah Curran

DTT Leader - Emerging Tools

Sarah studied at University College Dublin graduating with a 1st Class Honours degree and spent a year studying at KTH Stockholm. After working and completing her professional diploma in Dublin, Sarah joined Allies and Morrison Architects in 2010 and became an Associate Director of the practice in 2018.

In practice Sarah has worked across a range of sectors with a focus on the delivery stages of a number of residential projects. Sarah was the project architect for Phase 3 of the St Andrews development in Bromley-by-Bow, leading the detail design of a 27 storey residential tower and community building. More recently Sarah was project architect for the construction phases of Two Fifty One, a 41-storey residential tower and commercial building in Elephant and Castle which utilised a number of innovative component based modular construction methods. Sarah is a member of the Housing Group at Allies and Morrison.

Sarah has a keen interest in building conservation, completing the SPAB ‘Repair of Old Buildings’ course in 2013. She has applied her conservation knowledge through a range of projects including the production of a conservation plan for 11 Bedford Square and as Project Architect for refurbishment works to Cliveden House a Grade 1 listed hotel in Berkshire.
