Jay Morton

Jay joined Bell Phillips Architects in December 2012. Since joining Jay has worked on projects for both local authority and private sector clients. This includes; the Newham Newbuild a scheme to develop 6 sites across the borough to accommodate affordable family sized housing, and Marina Gardens, Portishead a 126 unit scheme to house the over 60’s for developer Pegasus Life.

As an associate Jay is also part of the management team and contributes to business development.

Prior to Bell Phillips, Jay has worked on a variety of projects of varying scale including large scale masterplans in Dorset and Sussex, a mixed use development in Crystal Palace London, a school for children with physical and mental disabilities in Sri Lanka and a private house in Kent

Jay is passionate about all aspects of her work and takes a particular interest in the future of housing design.

Outside of the office Jay is an active campaigner for Generation Rent and Priced Out and is also joint running a series of talks at the House Of Commons titled “Glass Ceiling Not Glass Slipper” for the Fabian Society.
