DTT Leader—Purpose & pleasure
Andrew is an Associate at Orms and leads the studio’s team delivering the complex St. Giles Circus mixed use scheme in London – a unique project that is based on the cultural and physical heritage of Denmark Street, historically known as ‘Tin Pan Alley’. He is an elected member of the Office’s Employee Ownership Council.
Andrew heads up Orms involvement with the London School of Architecture. Over the past four years he has established himself as a leader of one of the School’s Design Think Tanks producing a diverse range of research on relevant and innovative topics that include investigating the role of the Metropolitan High Street in the Digital Age and Redesigning Democracy: Bridging the gap between the self and the civic. This year he will lead the Metabolic City Think Tank.
Prior to joining Orms, Andrew had previously studied in Glasgow, Chile and the Czech Republic, working in both the private and public sector in Glasgow – gaining several architectural awards for both educational and residential projects.
