JOB OPPORTUNITY: DESIGN HISTORY TUTOR

 

The London School of Architecture is seeking applications for exceptional tutors who can support the Design History module across its two-year MArch in Designing Architecture (ARB/RIBA Part 2) programme.

Design History at the LSA is an analytical module in Year Two that asks students to consider through an historical perspective how architects have approached the task of design, and how this can be instructive for the development individual student projects. The module is closely aligned to both Design Thesis and Design Tectonics to ensure all aspects of historical research are embraced from construction history through to social, political and cultural agendas.

Please submit a portfolio, CV and covering letter by 12 noon on 15 July 2024 here. Please make clear your level of practice and teaching experience.

Interviews will be during the weeks of the 22 and 26 July 2024. The position commences in October 2024.
