Is your practice interested in hiring Architectural Assistants?
We have a number of MArch offer holders ready to commence their studies with us in September, currently seeking employment for their student placement, as part of our Part 2 programme.
These talented individuals are available to interview for employment on a part-time basis. The study/work split for the programme is: Monday – Tuesday study at the LSA, Wednesday – Friday work in practice.
This is a great opportunity to support the development of the next generation of architects while they work towards their Part 2.
Please submit your details if you are interested in hosting a Student Placement(s) for the September 2026 intake.
Testimonials:
“The practice gives the students the opportunity to share their university projects in organised presentations, this gives the practice exposure to unique subjects, personal to the students, and the opportunity to support the Architects of the future.
The LSA programme provides real world experience on live projects which students otherwise would not have access to in the current teaching practices. Through the provision of placements, we feel we can support the school in giving opportunities to students from diverse backgrounds.” – Lewis Benmore, Associate, Eric Parry (LSA Placement Host)
“Studying at the London School of Architecture has allowed me to develop my interests in architecture and spatial practice. My experience with DSDHA has been especially valuable throughout this journey, as their support and involvement have greatly enriched both my academic and professional development. Their participation in the Design Think Tank module as a live project created an engaging connection between practice, research, and real-world urban issues. Having a mentor within the practice who I can regularly discuss ideas with and seek guidance from on academic topics has been incredibly helpful. I look forward to continuing to learn, develop new skills, and make the most of the rest of the year.” – Chisom Ogakwu, Architectural Assistant, DSDHA (first-year LSA student)
“The LSA placement challenged my theoretical thinking by exposing me simultaneously to real-world practice. This dual reflection strengthened my design approach, helping me remain creative while staying firmly rooted in practical realities.” – Renee Wong, employed by Ryder Architecture for the Student Placement (second-year LSA student)
