We have moved!

The London School of Architecture is delighted to announce that it has moved into new premises: 141A Mare Street, Hackney. After enjoying two successful years at Somerset House, students and staff moved into the new studio as term began on October 1st, 2018.

Designed by London and Oslo-based architects Hesselbrand, the studio will be a base for staff and Second Year students as the latter develop their individual thesis projects while full-time with the LSA.

The new studio embodies the LSA’s values: it is open, collaborative and transparent – you can peer in through the glass frontage to find crits and the like taking place, or better still, pop in for a chat.

The School meanwhile, will maintain its use of the city as both its campus and testing ground, siting its investigations and projects in a different London borough every year.
