LSA EVENING STANDARD ARTICLE CALLS FOR A RUBBISH REVOLUTION

LSA Associate Director, Vicky Richardson and Studio 8FOLD, a practice established by LSA alumi Aleks Stojakovic and Alex Frehse, have written an article for the Evening Standard calling for a new approach to dealing with waste and recycling in London. This is the first in a series of articles for the Homes&Property section looking at issues such as the design of housing, incentives for homeowners to recycle, and new ideas for community waste facilities.

The articles spring from research carried out by Aleks for his final project at the LSA, Wasteminster, in which he proposed a new type of community centre to deal with food waste and the global challenge that around one third of food produced is discarded.
